Why Get Fit

Vanity is a great reason! Everyone likes to feel good about themselves. Getting leaner, stronger and more toned is a great confidence booster. BUT an equally important reason to get fit is to benefit your health. Exercise and a good diet really can help you live longer, avoid many health issues AND have a better quality of life while you’re here.

AND although hard work at the beginning, exercise in the longterm boosts energy levels and can be great fun, AND as it releases endorphins in the brain it really can make more positive and better able to cope with other aspects of your life, and overall a happier person!

How many more reasons do you need?

Of course there are many specific reasons why people may want to re-focus on their fitness: specific health reasons following illness, injury, pregnancy are examples. OR it could just be that it’s time to stop the slide into an unhealthy lifestyle. OR it may be an event in the future that an individual needs to be stronger for or wants to be thinner for.

BUT there doesn’t have to be any one reason to start, and there is never a good reason not to!

AND it doesn’t have to be too tough. Getting fit for the longterm isn’t about crash diets and boot-camp exercise regimes. It’s about slowly introducing higher activity levels and better eating habits, and moving towards a healthier lifestyle balance.

Identifying the right sustainable changes is the key, and that’s where personal training can come in, providing the knowledge, support and motivation that’s needed
